De-stressing with Online Bingo

My two little super babies are my world. I realise every mum will say this, but Dexter and Heidi are not like the usual kids. Though they give me a tough time, they’re one in a million.

After taking a complete charge of our recent house move, I was exhausted. I was craving for a day just for myself with a glass of wine. Craig is so understanding in matters like this, hence he decided to take the kids for an outing and give me some time for myself. They left for an amusement park on a Sunday afternoon.

I called my friend over to give me company. As my friend came over, we decided on doing something exciting over a glass of Pinot. She came up with an interesting idea of playing online bingo. I started to wonder if it is worth it to give it a shot or not. She suggested me to check out a bingo site called New Look Bingo which has loads of good offers.

I thought of giving it a try after going through the site’s newbie offers, games, promotions and the like. The site is offering £65 to play with on a minimum deposit of £10 which includes a free £5 to play with upon sign up.

As I am a stay-at-home mum, I have more time to do what I want and also earn well side by side. Bingo is my way of de-stressing at home when I am not occupied with cleaning, bum changes and nursery runs.

New Look Bingo is a place to be at when I need time for myself. Other than kids and taking care of my house, I have something which I can take up and get good returns out of. My friend comes over frequently joins me for a game of bingo. This site helps me to combat stress and boosts my energy level. The banter is great too.

New Look Bingo is one of the best sites to play on not only for fun, but also a renowned site for great returns. I’ve also read the reviews left by other players on the site and can see they’ve all made a ton of new buddies and have a few big wins under their belts. I’m chuffed to bits with my decision and hope to see some of you there soon.

Take some downtime with online bingo

A mum’s day is always a busy one, no matter what age her children are. The only time the pressure is really off is when the kids have flown the nest – or at least headed off to uni for the term! But for the majority of mums with kids at home, their days are packed and busy ones.

It doesn’t make too much difference whether you’re a stay-at-home mum or one who goes out to work – there’s always something useful you can be doing at any time of the day, stretching all the way until you decide to quit for the day and go to bed.

However, there’s a problem with being on the go all the time – you run out of steam and you run out of energy. When that happens, you’re not always such a great mum to be around! Thankfully, there’s an easy solution. You take a few minutes of downtime during the day to just relax and be yourself. And this doesn’t mean heading out for a massage, you can wind down wherever you are with a few games of bingo online.

Bingo has always been popular but it used to involve taking time out to go to the local bingo hall. Now you can play online at sites such as 32red bingo or 123 Bingo any time of day or night, for any length of time - click here for more info. The venue for bingo may have changed but the fun of playing is just the same and there’s a social side to the games, too, which can be great if you want to let off some steam about your children or your partner while you’re there. That’s because all the sites have chat rooms, which are connected to the games that you’re playing. So while you watch the progress of your bingo cards, you can also have a gossip.

The stakes have always been low with bingo games, but now as there are so many sites to play at, there’s a lot of free cash for players to take advantage of when they join a site. At 32red bingo, for example, there’s a £10 bonus when you first register an account, without you needing to put in a penny of your own money.

Once registered, as well as the paying games, there are plenty of free games included on the bingo site schedules, so there’s always the option of playing for free when you don’t want to spend any money at all. Even the free games have small prizes attached to them, so there’s still a thrill with any win.

For most players, though, they’re not playing bingo with the expectation of winning. It’s more about being able to focus on a fun and easy game for a few minutes, and maybe have a chat, so that you can have a break from the routine events of the day.

Bingo through the ages

You either love it or hate it, but Bingo is big business and here to stay.

Since its conception in Italy circa 1530, Bingo pushed its way into town halls and disused cinemas and was scaled up for the masses in the 1950s. Not just a past time for pensioners, memorable (and sometimes slightly cringeworthy) television ads saw the much-loved game gain in popularity and dedicated halls housed raucous hen-dos and provided pre-club entertainment for a younger audience.

Yet in 2012, The Bingo Association reported there were just over 400 halls in the UK - less than half the number in the game’s heyday. That isn’t to say the nation’s love affair with Bingo is dwindling, it’s just moved with the times and found its way onto our laptops, smartphones and tablets. If Bingo is the game for you, it’s never been more accessible. You can now play whilst watching the telly, in the bath or in bed. Prize pools have also sky-rocketed, and there are deals, offers and bonuses aplenty to keep your gaming pot afloat.

This interesting infographic, provided by bingo heavy-weight PaddyPower, shows just how much bingo has transformed throughout the ages. The most eye-opening thing for me was discovering there was an online jackpot payout of £5million back in 2014 > Seems I’m spending too much time on Twitter and not enough on playing the slots!

Righto, I’m off to have a go and see if I can raise a few thousand to pay off my credit cards… or maybe take another holiday… or maybe stump up a deposit for a mortgage…
