Would you let your child dress you for the day?

Men’s Clothing site, Fashion Beans are asking exactly this in the lead up to Father’s Day in their #DressDadComp.

And we tried it ourselves!

We actually had to go to a charity shop to buy up some colourful threads given Craig’s wardrobe is pretty sober. In fact, for a man on the wrong side of 40, he’s actually pretty trendy! Let loose in daddy’s drawers, Dex would have pulled out something Craig would be happy to wear walking down the street - being the evil wifey I am, I couldn’t have that…

So Dex picked out this charming (and really quite hideous) shirt from Sue Ryder - no doubt his muse was Woody from Toy Story - and a tie that should never have made it to print. Teamed with a pair of daddy’s work shorts, Craig looked suitably ridiculous, and Dex was ready to show off his daddy to the world (well, his mates at nursery at least).

THE COMP

If you know a man-shaped person that is ripe for a makeover, you could win £100 of Fashion Beans vouchers simply by channeling your child’s inner Gok Wan.

It couldn’t be simpler - have your kid rummage around at the back of their wardrobe, pull out some moth-eaten crimes-against-fashion, and dress them up. Have mum on standby with her iPhone and share a pic on Fashion Bean’s Instagram by 20th June (with the hashtag #DressDadComp). That’s it!

I can think of nothing better to do than this on a Sunday afternoon. Winning could mean your fella can bag an on-point outfit using the vouchers - even if you don’t, your child(ren) will get a cheap laugh, and you get to finally bin the horrors hiding beneath hubby’s tees! - Win, win!
