I love all Tommee Tippee’s limited edition boxsets - I make a beeline for Mothercare whenever I hear about them as they are just too adorable not to snatch up.

Their latest collection is inspired by the fairy tale magic of the Christmas season and therefore decorated with festive images. This is a great way to have baby share in the festive spirit - it can be difficult for preschoolers to get excited about Christmas as they just don’t understand what it’s all about. I think my children think it’s Christmas every day of the week anyway where they’re sent so much to review!

Gingerbread Tommee Tippee

The Gingerbread collection consists of 2 gift sets containing 2 bottles and 2 soothers in pink or blue and 2 single 260ml bottles. Each bottle has a unique Gingerbread or Christmas design and comes in a gorgeous presentation box. I’m being sent one next week and can’t wait to snap Heidi guzzling from her special bottle.

As we all know, Tommee Tippee (BPA-free) bottles are suitable to use from birth and are designed to mimic the natural flex, stretch and movement of mum’s breast. Together with the super-sensitive valve the bottle encourages baby’s intuitive feeding action for a comfortable and relaxed feed. The specially designed compact shape allows the bottle to be held in the most natural position during feeding, allowing baby to be closer to you. Heidi has used these from 6 weeks old and I can’t fault them.

Tommee Tippee Gingerbread

To celebrate the launch of the Gingerbread range Tommee Tippee have published a free interactive fairy tale telling the story of Mr Gingerbread and his Christmas journey. Mr Gingerbread forgets to buy the all-important Christmas tree and rushes out to buy one. But all the tree shops are shut and he prepares to go home and break the news to Baby Gingerbread and Mummy Gingerbread. Fortunately when they wake up on Christmas day Santa has been and left them presents and a beautiful tree. It’s a feel-good tale and one that perfectly captures the magic of Christmas - easy to read too with rhyming couplets. Head here to take a look > www.tommeetippee.co.uk/gingerbread

Tommee Tippee Best of British Banner

As a tommee tippee mumb@ssador I’m among the first to receive press releases and news from what I affectionately refer to as TT HQ. Well a few weeks back I was tipped off that tommee tippee® closer to nature is celebrating all things British this summer with a limited edition Best of British collection of bottles and gifts available from Mothercare… How cute are these!?

Tommee Tippee Best of British

Yep, as the UK’s most trusted baby brand, British brand tommee tippee wanted to build on all the excitement of the upcoming Commonwealth Games, Wimbledon and The World Cup and have decorated some of their award-winning baby essentials with iconic British imagery. Even better, they sent Heidi her very own pretty pink bottle with red bus design so she will be the envy of all the babies at nursery!

Tommee Tippee Pink

I’ve reviewed so many baby bottles on this blog, but we always end up going back to tommee tippee. I think in a bid to outdo each other, too many brands are messing around with teats, air flow systems, self-sterilisation… I could go on. Give me a simple, uncomplicated bottle any day of the week. tommee tippee deliver this perfectly and their bottles are loved by millions of mums and babies here in the UK.

To start, their bottles consist of just three parts only, so are easy-to-wash and build. The measurements are also clearly delineated to help ensure they’re no hiccups with making up formula in the middle of the night. The bottle is also ergonomic so there’s no hand-ache for mums, and babies are quick to begin independent feeding. Toss in the fact they’re priced sensibly and available in all major supermarkets and baby superstores, and you have all the ingredients needed for a major success story.

Tommee Tippee Pink Bottle

Best of all though, my little cherub loves them.

The Best of British Limited Edition collection from tommee tippee closer to nature® consists of 3 gift sets containing 2 bottles and 2 soothers in pink, blue or traditional London bus red and 3 single 260ml bottles. Each bottle has a unique iconic London Bus design, and comes in a presentation / gift box.

They say:

The tommee tippee® closer to nature® bottles are suitable to use from birth and are designed to mimic the natural flex, stretch and movement of a mum’s breast. Together with the bottle’s super-sensitive valve, this encourages your baby’s intuitive feeding action for a comfortable and relaxed feed. With tommee tippee® closer to nature® bottles, switching between breast and bottle-feeding is easier than ever before. The bottles have been specially designed in a compact shape, to be held in the most natural position during feeding, allowing baby to be closer to you. All bottles are BPA free. The baby approved* soothers are designed with a new style longer flatter teat to support healthy oral development.

We say:

They’re just unbeatable. From price right on down to ease of use. Craig prefers to use these bottles above all others as they never leak and are so easy to sterilise and keep clean.

I love Heidi’s pretty pink bottle too and tons of mums have asked me where they can can get their hands on theirs!

The tommee tippee® closer to nature® Best of British limited edition range is available from 9th June in Mothercare (single 260 ml bottle - RRP £5.99 ; gift set – RRP £14.99). The range is suitable for babies 0 + months. For more information on the entire ranges, please visit www.tommeetippee.co.uk

Mumbassador_Logo[1]

If you’re as addicted as I am to The Baby Show, you’ll no doubt be aware it’s the NEC’s leg next weekend. I was actually featured on the website this year as the Official Baby Show Blogger for the London show and am gutted to miss out on the goings-on in Birmingham. Unfortunately as a mummy of two-under-two it’s getting harder to manage big trips in the car.

Well in my new role as Tommee Tippee Mumb@ssador, I’ve been tipped off about Tommee Tippee’s Baby Show deals. There’s some amazing discounts to be had so I thought I’d share some of them with you.

Soother Amnesty

tommee_tippee-baby

For more information (or to simply show-off if you manage to get your mitts on one) use the hashtag #sootherswap. You’ll have to be quick though, there are a limited number available each day so best to get to the stand nice and early. If you miss out, the soothers will also be on sale at the show for £3 instead of £4.79.

If you’d like to know more about Tommee Tippee’s new soother range (and what makes them so great), I’ve reviewed them HERE

Sangenic Nappy Wrapper

… a.k.a the Nappy Bin!

I’d struggle to name one parent who doesn’t have one of these in their nursery - Heidi’s doing a grand job of modelling ours below. You can grab yours for just £10 (RRP £25.50) at the show.

Here’s what the guys at Tommee Tippee HQ have to say:

Specially designed to take the legwork out of change-time, our Nappy Disposal System offers proven protection from germs and odours, individually sealing each nappy away in seconds! The tub holds up to 28* nappies too, meaning fewer trips to the wheelie bin and more quality time with your baby.

The system twists and locks away germs and odours, and has a plunger, which pushes the nappy away deep into the tub. The film kills 99% of germs on contact, which means it is a hygienic way to dispose of nappies, ensuring baby’s nursery is a much sweeter smelling place to be!

This bad boy is literally rammed full of everything you need for feeding your baby. Normally £110, show price is just £60. I have one of these kits for Dexter and we’re still using it now (he’s almost 24 months).

  • Electric Steam Steriliser
  • Travel Steriliser
  • Electric Bottle and Food Warmer
  • 2 x 150ml Closer to Nature Easi-Vent Bottles with Slow Flow Teats

  • 2 x Fast Flow Teats – 6m+
  • 4 x Milk Storage Lids
  • 6 x Milk Powder Dispensers – 0m+
  • 2 x Insulated Bottle Bags
  • 1 x Bottle and Teat Brush

Perfect Prep Machine

This is still my most widely read post on My Mills Baby. It seems it has revolutionised bottle feeding for parents everywhere, and it’s something I’m really keen to try out with Heidi-Bum. At £69 at the show (RRP £99.99), this is the best price I’ve come across to date (and trust me, I’ve been tracking this one closely).

530x500_1

What does it do?

  1. Filters your tap water of any impurities that may be present in the water
  2. Delivers a small “hot shot” to kill any bacteria in the feed and ensures the formula dissolves quickly and easily
  3. Dispenses the correct balance of water to make up your feed

…which means the bottle is ready to serve at body temperature - in under 2 minutes! No more faffing around in the dead of the night to make up a bottle! Bliss.

Colour my World Bottles

And to top it all off, there’s a product unveiling too. Colour my World bottles sees Tommee Tippee’s award-winning bottles in a range of fun and bright new colourways. Available in triple packs of 260ml bottles, there’s blue, pink and purple to choose from. Don’t worry, the easy-latch-on teat, super-sensitive anti-colic valve and compact and ergonomic bottle all remain. This is just Tommee Tippee going all colourful on us :-)
