Serenata2 Banner GIVEAWAY & REVIEW: Get Mothers Day sorted with Serenata Flowers (CD: 11/03/2015)

To me, Mother’s Day doesn’t hold the appeal it does to many. Given my relationship with my mother has been frosty for years, I can’t ever remember my brother and I as kids rustling her up brekkie in bed, innocently picking protected bluebells from the woods, or even writing a card. Even now I’m a mum, I still find it strange when Craig asks me what I’d like from the children and the day is exciting yet tinged with a little sadness.

I love the concept though, and love seeing middle-aged dashing to garages and emerging with bundles of half-dead flowers to give their aging mothers. Had my own life been different, I’d have been as organised as I am with everything else and had flowers, choccies, wine and the card sorted well in advance of the big day.

So when Serenata Flowers asked me if I’d like to host a giveaway, it seemed liked a perfect opportunity to make someone’s day easier and get Mother’s Day off to a cracking start. They do a fantastic array of gifts for any occasion and there’s something to suit every mother be she green-fingered, chocolate-loving, or an accomplished foodie.

The prize is a £40 voucher which could bag you any of the following gifts…

If you order before 10pm, there is guaranteed next day FREE delivery, although you can specify times for a small extra fee. I also really like the checkout feature which makes additional suggestions to embellish your gift; from Prosecco, to balloons, from chocolates to vases.

Compared to other online florists, prices are very reasonable with huge bunches of mixed flowers coming in at under £40. There’s no scrimping on quality either as everything is hand-created by an expert florist, lovingly gift-wrapped and includes a personal message.
