Okay I might be telling a tiny white lie here; it is most definitely not night time in any of the pics below. Given my little dude is in bed by 8pm his night time routine is a whirlwind of hurried dinner-making, getting him to eat said dinner, picking peas off the floor, shampooing gravy from his hair… the list goes on. So we’re having a movie day instead!
On the agenda is back to back Fireman Sam, Despicable Me and a short pit-stop at CBeebies for Abney and Teal for Heidi. This is more television than he’ll usually watch but a hectic weekend has thrown his schedule out of whack and he was roaming the landing at 3am last night. I figure there’s no better day to don the PJ’s and eat popcorn.

So what time better time to show off Dexter’s awesome new PJs from House of Fraser’s AW14 collection! These super cool flannel PJs are from Mini ZZZ and make Dexter the perfect snuggly companion for dozing and giggling with on the sofa. They keep him warm and toasty now the weather has turned chilly and are 100% cotton so breathable too.
The light blue ones have pirates, treasure chests, cold coins and Jolly Rogers - perfect for a mini swash-buckler. They’re so bright and fun that he gets excited about dressing for bed (so that’s one less thing for Craig and I to worry about!).

The red ones are superhero themed (think caped crusaders and magazine style pop-art) and the same superior quality. The buttons are big and chunky for little fingers to set about mastering, and the trousers are elasticated for night time loo dashes. The collar stay where it should so as not to irritate him when he sleeps and I love the piping along the seams to make it just that little bit more special. They’re also machine washable at low temps and come out just a bright and soft as from new.
The button-through traditional style is fab you’re making a Christmas Eve Box this year - just add hot chocolate and a Christmassy DVD for instant smiles before bed.

Dexter’s PJs are sized 2 years and are very generous. We’ve rolled them up at the waist to stop them falling down. He is very slight for his age but I can see these lasting well beyond his third birthday.

Lastly, they have a dark blue space themed set. My camera had a real job capturing Dex for these given we have extraordinarily bright sunshine today. As a Toy Story fan, it was love at first sight for my little guy.

At £18 a pair they’re a little more of a treat than your usual high-street fare, but worth every penny. They’ll last a full cold season and are guaranteed to be a hit with little boys.
Thanks House of Fraser! Time to watch Despicable Me and watch Dex tuck into some chocolate (I’m on a diet *sob*).
