Facial wipes are a must for the busy mother - since Dexter was born I have considerably less time to get ready in the mornings. Gone are the face masks and collagen injections, a quick wipe to remove yesterday’s eye make-up (that has slipped down my cheeks making me look like Marilyn Manson) is about the extent of my daily regime.
Our supermarket shelves are literally packed with different brands competing for our attention. With many made up of different complex ingredients they all claim they’ll leave you spot-free, fresh-faced, even-complexioned, and downright gorgeous. But the very fact they’re often loaded with fragrance and preservatives means many will sting your skin and leave it feeling tight. They’ve always been a poor cousin to a bottled cleanser and cotton wall.
When asked to trial WaterWipes Facial Wipes I jumped at the chance. Having reviewed their baby wipes (and fallen in love with them), I just knew they’d be strong, wet, and kind to my skin. Given Dexter’s peachy bum hasn’t had any nappy rash since using the baby wipes, how could the facial wipes be any different?
Similar to their award-winning baby wipes, these facial wipes are 100% natural (99.9% ultra-purified water, 0.1% citrus grapefruit seed extract and dead sea minerals) they are thick and strong enough to get the job done, yet soft and gentle enough to use everyday. As they don’t contain any skin irritants (such as alcohol, fragrance, lanolin, perfume, or oil) you’re left with hydrated and soft-to-touch skin.
As a liquid eyeliner fan, I can confirm they remove even the toughest of waterproofs making them perfect for the delicate skin around your eyes. I’m also assured that they are also fabulous for those of you that suffer with any minor dermatological conditions (being approved by Allergy UK) and these wipes are suitable for all skin types (no matter how sensitive).
I won’t be using anything else now - they just do the job so perfectly.
Want to try them for yourself? As well as being available on Ocado’s shelves, WaterWipes have offered me a months supply of WaterWipes facial wipes to giveaway to one of you. As ever, entry is via Rafflecopter - Good luck!
