Free Printable Fun Activity Sheets from BRITAX

Dexter is too weeny for activity sheets and colouring books at the moment. In fact, if you give him a colouring pen and a piece of paper he’s likely to eat the paper and redecorate the walls instead! I can fully appreciate however just what a godsend these can be for boredom-busting on long car journeys or rainy days. Having recently discovered (in the worst possible way) that my special little guy gets horrendously car sick, I can see these featuring BIG TIME in Dexter’s traveling career in a few years time.

Well my buddies at BRITAX have gone and created some fab free printable fun activity sheets to help mums and dads distract their LO’s and get some respite from the dreaded “Are we nearly yet’s” when on the road. Suitable for over 4′s, they’ve come up with a few fun ideas to reinforce early learning concepts through play.

As you head out of the city or countryside to hit the motorway, they’re challenging your younger children’s bright little minds to spot key landmarks, planes and animals. With a visual printable ‘I Spy’ sheet, they will just need a pencil to circle what they spot and can also colour in the images while they play!

Older children are also encouraged to put their literacy skills to the test and create short sentences featuring everything they have spotted on their journey. No mess, no fuss, just fun. For the older travelers they also have a ‘Number Detective’ worksheet to challenge their minds with harder, logic solving questions which will even give parents a run for their money if the kids get stuck. All are guaranteed to give parents at least 15 minutes extra peace on their journey!

To download these great activity sheets, head over to the BRITAX website and simply right-click on the images that are most suitable for your child, save them to your desktop then print them out when you’re ready to hit the road!

DISCLAIMER: As a BRITAX Mumbassador, I’m forever being sent great little press releases. I’m not asked to share these, but occasionally will if I think you’ll find them useful. This particular one coincides with the launch of the technologically advanced new Group 2/3 car seat, the KIDFIX XP SICT which is well worth a quick peek if you’re looking for a new car seat for your toddler (15kg - 36 kg). I’ll let the other Mumbassadors bring you news on this as Dexter is a long way off
